GenNEXT Funding is seeking a Human Resources Manager to help shape, drive and manage the corporate Human Resource function and strategy to fulfill the organization's resource requirements to achieve its current and future business objectives in line with the business vision and strategy, industry best practices, and industry requirements.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to partner with the executive and management team to set and meet corporate goals and to collaboratively work with its employees in all aspects of the Human Resource function.
The ideal candidate should have a well-rounded background in healthcare and experience with recruiting, employee relations and benefits, compliance, and knowledge of Department of Health and Labor regulations. Additionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of Human Resource best practices, outstanding people, and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Bonus Potential: $65-$90K annually
Responsibilities:
Meet with the Executive team to understand priorities in order to contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
Update and administer HR plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
Plan, organize, and control the activities and actions of the HR department
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment/industry laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Partner with the Zenefits team (HR platform) and understand what they provide or identify another resource able to accommodate growth goals
Handle all onboarding tasks including I9 processing, orientation including benefits enrollment, and payroll data entry
Perform benefits administration
Manage 401K Plan/Broker
Maintain department records and reports
Develop, analyze, and update the company’s evaluation program
Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures
Maintain and revise the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Assist with the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, coordinating candidate interviews as well as preboarding tasks including background checks, employment references, and education verification, and other recruitment needs
Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings
Work with Marketing to develop and maintain consistent communications
Create, revise, and maintain job descriptions and placing job ads
Conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
Identify employee training needs, develop, and administer HR 101 employee learning and development
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, exit interviews, and investigations.
Prepare exit paperwork including COBRA notices and other required termination documentation for processing terminations from active status
Understand and learn how to run Payroll (if needed)
Participate in administrative staff meetings
Maintain company directory and other organizational charts
NMLS employee and company license management
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
1-2 years in an HR administrative support role required. HR experience preferred
BA/BS degree in business administration, HR management, or organizational psychology preferred

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask with multiple stakeholders simultaneously on administrative support needs

Proactive-minded with a willingness to assist beyond the scope of the responsibilities
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
