Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain successful relationships with business referral sources, existing and prospective GenNEXT new mortgage lending opportunities
Meets with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process
Utilizes GenNEXT training materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners
Provide complete loan applications to fulfillment center partners
Ensure exceptional customer experience by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing ongoing communication to clients and business partners
Achieve production goals as established by GenNEXT
Establish and develop realtor and business partner relationships
Maintain excellent service and expand referral sources
Assist and recommend borrowers in choosing appropriate loan programs
Client information gathering, compiling loan application, and documentation as required
Maintain and nurture clients’ needs through the entire loan process
Analyze all information on financial and credit data
Communicate consistently with clients, realtors, processors, escrow officers, underwriter, and all parties associated with each loan
Maintain an accurate accounting of each loan in the MLOs pipeline
Update sales cycle stage for each new loan submitted to execute an appropriate marketing campaign
Provide weekly updates to Branch Manager, Director of Business Development, and Chief Sales Officer (CSO)
Advance GenNEXT guiding principles of integrity, respect, professionalism, and customer-first mentality
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution
NMLS license required
Senior positions require at least 2-5 years of mortgage sales experience
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines
Previous sales support experience
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
Maintain program knowledge, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Attend and complete mandatory sales training and continuing education as required by both GenNEXT and industry standards
Bilingual a plus
NOTE: This position requires compliance with the SAFE Act and state licensing requirements. Licensing requirements can include, but are not limited to, satisfactory completion of background checks, fingerprinting, credit reports, testing, and continuing education. This is in addition to what CCM requires upon hire.
